Thank You!
A big thank you to Cliff and Chrissy Hores for once again providing us with the atmosphere we expect at the Jimmy Buffett party! Robin and her staff did an excellent job of serving drinks and food to a sell-out crowd. We thank them all for a tremendous event. We would also like to thank Cliff Robinson for getting us in the Reggae mood by hiring the band for our Rock the Dock Night. The menu was delicious and all had a great time. Last but not least we would like to sincerely thank the 90th Anniversary Committee for all their hard work. The celebration was fantastic and they thought of everything. The pictures and articles of the history of the Club were a special treat. Thanks to Jane Cronin, Karen Farrell, Pat Lacey and Beverly O'Grady and their husbands. They truly out did themselves.

A personal note from Fred Sigrist, President: I would sincerely like to thank the members and staff of the Belmar Fishing Club for their prayers, cards, fruit and well wishes, which I received during my recent illness. Your thoughtfulness is deeply appreciated. Doris and I were overwhelmed by the number of people who called or wrote. Thank you so much. Now that I am back on my feet again, watch out!

• Draft Beer Now Available We now can serve draft beer all year long! Available immediately are Miller Light, Coors Light, and Honey Brown. Enjoy!
• We would ask that all members limit the number of guests they bring to the club at one time, see the House Rules. We love to have large groups of diners, but we don't want to ask another member to wait because one member brought too many guests. Your cooperation in this matter has been great. Thanks so much.
• Please take an extra moment when signing your check. Please make sure your name is spelled correctly at the top of the check and that the signature is that of the member and is legible. Thank you.
• Christmas Parties It's never too early to book your Christmas Party at the Club. We already have many dates booked for parties. If you would like to reserve a date please call Robin immediately!

Fishing Committee
The Fishing Activities Committee is sponsoring our 2nd Annual Blue Fish Trip aboard the "Ol Salty II" on Sunday August 29 at 4 PM. We need you to commit early and with money! Our host for the trip, Mike Gruber, has already chartered the boat. Send a check for $35 per person to T. Michael Gruber P.O. Box 4348 Brick, NJ 08723. We had a great time last year and the pool winner was over $100. Any questions see Bill Owens, Chair. There have been problems with wave runners going under the pier. If you are fishing and spot one doing this please try to get the serial number off the back of the wave runner. We can then report it to the Coast Guard and they will be fined $500. Watch your fishing poles at the same time!
