A Very Belated Thank You
We neglected to thank our very hard working members who volunteered at the Clam Bake in June. All of our clam shuckers deserve a hearty round of applause, including Judge Joseph Falbo, Howard Fuhrman, Matt Lynch, Rich Hohweiler, Denise and David Calloway, and new members John and Beverly O'Grady. Judge Falbo and Rich Hohweiler have been the main volunteers at our Clam Bakes for over 25 years. An extra special thank you to these two fine gentlemen.

Paradise: The Jimmy Buffett Party was a great success. Cliff Hores did a great job hosting and the music was especially enjoyable. Thanks to all those who attended. We would really like to know where Ed and Pat Allen got their t-shirts!

Cancellation
The Ladies Card Party has been cancelled for the fall. We will let you know about a possible luncheon in the spring.

Club News Updates
Pier Repair Committee: The Pier Committee has been very busy submitting the required permit applications to the State and County. Rich Hohweiler and Fred Sigrist met with one possible contractor and were very pleased with his knowledge and expertise in the area of pier repairs. We hope to have work started soon. We know that all the fishing members of our club are anxious to see some evidence of work being done on the pier, as are we. We will keep you informed as the process progresses.
