The Carnivale was enjoyed by all. Terry and Rita Deodato were the perfect hosts and provided an especially wonderful evening for all that attended. Thank you Terry and Rita.

Reminders
Annual club dues were due in January 1998 (reference Article 10, Par. 3 of the BFC Constitution and By-laws). If you have not previously done so, please pay your dues prior to 3/31/98 in order to avoid receiving a delinquency notice.

The bar and restaurant will remain open on Wednesdays through March.

For the safety of the children and in consideration of your fellow members, please do not leave young children unsupervised.

Current Business
Nominations are now being accepted for candidates for the BFC Holding Company. All candidates for trustees of the Holding Company must be members in good standing for three consecutive years. Please submit all nominations to President F. Sigrist.

Installation of replacement windows in the Farrier Room is near completion. There are a limited number of windows still available for individual member sponsorship.

All members are requested to be active participants in our efforts to protect the Belmar beachfront. You are also encouraged to complete and mail the pre-paid postage card included with our letter dated January 30, 1998. To further assist the BFC in this cause, please contact Stephen Podd at the Club or by fax at 774-1685.

During the February rain and windstorm, the fishing pier suffered damage to the pilings. Therefore, only limited access is available until the severity of the damage has been determined.

The results of the absentee ballot survey will be published as soon as a majority of the ballots have been received.
